The objective of this Independent Assessment of Testing was to conduct a review of the NJKiDs software development System Testing process and procedures, and report any recommendations for change to improve the test function. The focus of this assessment was on the review of the vendor software development life cycle System Testing and various Rational testing artifacts. Interviews were conducted with the vendor Project Test Managers, State Test Manager, and the Quality Assurance vendor In support of this assessment. The NJKiDs Executive Management also requested a review of the System Testing resource allocation and the testing schedule as it relates to the overall project schedule.
The assessment was conducted in three stages with three on site visits. Separate reports were generated for the first two site visits and a summary report was generated detailing the findings from all site visits and analysis of various artifacts. This report provided Executive Management with an understanding of the findings for the complete assessment.
